The announcement, which is timed to the Enterprise Connect event happening in Orlando this week, discusses a new software extension to the Polycom RealPresence Platform that will deliver interoperability between Lync 2013 and Polycom’s full portfolio of video and content sharing solutions. In addition, Polycom announced: native integration and Lync Server 2013 qualification for Polycom® VVX® Business Media Phones; and compatibility with Lync 2013 for the RealPresence Platform, HDX Series and Group Series (expected in June). The announcement demonstrates Polycom’s continued leadership in delivering Microsoft Lync interoperable solutions that provide customers with a superior collaboration experience, unmatched interoperability and investment protection.
